Qualifying Life Events

A Qualifying Life Event is a change in your situation that can make you eligible for a special insurance enrollment period, allowing you to add, change, or cancel health insurance outside the annual Open Enrollment period. If you experience one of these life events and need to make a corresponding insurance change, you must initiate the change in Workday within 30 days of the event.

• New Hire

• Loss or Gain of Other Coverage

• Marriage or Divorce/Change in Registered Domestic Partner

• Birth or Adoption of a Child

• Relocation making you ineligible for your existing Specialized plan

• Conversion from Part-Time to Full-Time
