FAQs

  • Enrollment must be made within 30 days of a qualifying life event (QLE).

  • Your coverage begins the first of the month following your enrollment.

  • Enrollment elections must be made in Workday.

  • In 2026, the cost is $10.71 per bi-weekly paycheck.

  • Premiums will be taken out of your bi-weekly paychecks.

  • If you wish to continue your legal plan benefit after retiring or terminating employment, MetLife offers you the opportunity to continue on as a legal plan member for 12 months through a portal plan. The covered services and exclusions are the same as those under your current plan.

    You must enroll within 30 days of your last day of employment. Enrollment is pre-paid via remittance of a lump sum payment. Refunds will not be issued once processed.
